Imagine a choice, live your life being the facade people believe, or transform into the person you know you are. Being “stealth” describes simultaneous existing as both male and female yet not one person ever knows of this dichotomy. This is my journey of starting a mid-life male-to-female transition, perhaps a different retirement strategy than others. Confusion in early childhood, tumultuous adolescence, a stalled career, considerable chaos, and ample resilience, all merge into cautious optimism. It took some time.
